EN order that complete andd aceurate re- i cord may be kept of persons who ar- rive in the Virgin Isiands, especiaily aliens, rthere will hereafter be kept at the ports of Bt. Thomas, St. John, Chris- tiansted and Krederiksted, a book to be Known as the {mmigration Record in which will be recorded the following data concerning persons arriving in the Virgin Islands: 1. Full name. 2. Apo G ek . Color o. Date of nrrival, 6. Nime ol vesiel . Uitizenshp, 3. Former residence, 2. Qeeupation. 10, Loeal address. Ll. Bemuarks (deseription’ of passport, length of stay and other pertinent intormatioon. The information necessary to complete this record wili be procured under the cognizance of the Dirvectors of Police in St. Thomas and st, Croix, and the Des- patching Scevetary at St. John. Each vessel carrying passengers will be board- ed by an official from the above offices when the necessary aata will be secured to be jater transposed to the permanent immigration Record. Captains of ves- sels will not be permitred to land passen- gers until the data {or this record have been obtained, Passengers who rerazin ina port of the Virgin Islands only during the stay of the ship, and who depart with it, need not be recorded. The data required by the Immigration Record are in addition to the require- ments of existing laws rezarding jmmi- gration, foreigners, ete. in the Virgin [slands. The practice of requiring cap- tains of ships to furnish passenger lists wil! be continued.
