Mary Mac larren vortrays a young girl who escaped from an orphan asylum and goes to a nearby city. She is suspected of having stolen money from the institution: and to cover up her identity transforms her appearance as much as:possible-and takes work as assistant to a“biologist. Later she falls in love with the :latter’s son. The theft. 1s traced to her, but she is cleaied at the end.
