December 17 U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS—Governor Albert Bryan Jr., this week, issued a proclamation designating government holidays and providing for Administrative Leave during the Christmas Festival Season 2019-2020. Christmas Holidays & Leave Proclamation Administrative leave is granted for non-essential government employees and does not apply to essential employees, employees on a regular or rotating shift, and employees on annual or sick leave. The designated government holidays are as follows: December 25, 2019, Christmas Day December 26, 2019, Christmas Second Day January 1, 2020, New Year’s Day January 6, 2020, Three Kings’ Day Administrative Leave has been granted as follows: Territory-wide: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesday, December 24, 2019, Christmas Eve 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2019, New Year’s Eve 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2020, Children’s Parade, St. Croix St. Croix Only:  1 p.m. – 5 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2020, St. Croix Festival Food, Arts and Crafts Fair #### TAGS No tags CATEGORIES Uncategorized Previous Next Comments are closed © 2026 Government of the United States Virgin Islands.
