Investigation into the complaint revealed that 45-year-old, Mr. Anson Gallaway, the owner of a construction company took monies from victims to construct a prefabricated home and did not fulfill the services. On December 12, 2022, Mr. Gallaway turned himself into the Economic Crimes Unit Detectives where he was arrested and charged with the crimes, Obtaining Money by False Pretenses and Grand Larceny pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands.
