COMMITTEE ON BUDGET, APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE BILL NO. 36-0127 Thirty-Sixth Legislature of the Virgin Islands July 23, 2025 An act appropriating $300,000 from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands to the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital and Medical Center for medical supplies and additional staff for the Dialysis Unit PROPOSED BY: Senator Ray Fonseca Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: 1 SECTION 1. The sum of $300,000 is appropriated from the General Fund of the 2 Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands to the Roy L. Schneider Hospital and Medical 3 Center in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025, to purchase medical supplies and hire 4 additional staff for the Dialysis Unit. 5 BILL SUMMARY 6 This bill appropriates $300,000 in emergency supplemental funding from the General 7 Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands to the Roy Lester Schneider 8 Hospital and Medical Center to provide emergency supplemental funding to purchase medical 9 supplies and hire additional staff for the Dialysis Unit. …
