I have approved Bill No. 31-0252 now Act No. 7805. As I stated when I transmitted the bill to the Legislature, all IV-D Child Support agencies were required to operate under the mandates of the UIFSA 2008. The local Division of Paternity and Child Support (“PCSD”) is one of these agencies. Therefore, enactment in jurisdictions of the UIFSA 2008 is mandatory, and jurisdictions were expected to enact it by December 31, 2015 to avoid penalties. The enactment of Bill No. …
