I am a retiree from the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital, where I worked for over 33 years as a registered nurse and as the Director of Case Management and Social Services. On November 30, 2024,1 officially retired from the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center. However, I have notyet received my retirement compensation or the 184 hours of annual leave lam owed. Although these funds were deducted directly from my bi-weekly payments, they were never paid into the Government Employee Retirement System (GERS) on my behalf. It is my understanding that until these payments are made, will not be able to be paid. Moreover, this will be for another six months to a year before it can be rectified. …

I am a retiree from the Roy Lester Schneider Hospital, where I worked for over 33 years as a registered nurse and as the Director of Case Management and Social Services. Although these funds were deducted directly from my bi-weekly payments, they were never paid into the Government Employee Retirement System (GERS) on my behalf. It is my understanding that until these payments are made, will not be able to be paid. Moreover, this will be for another six months to a year before it can be rectified. This ongoing issue has been a significant hardship for both me and myfamily. As a retiree, I am compelled to pay $540.00 for insurance fees and MASA services, which has forced me to forgo all other services that would have been covered by my retirement funds.
