Warsaw, May 10th.— The Ukrainians joined the Poles mn occupying Kiev i foree late on Saturday. Winnipeg, May 10th.—-The Canadian wheat Board has issued the following order. ‘'Lffective from May Bth no mixed grait containing wheat grown iu the Provinces oi Untaric and Quebec shall be exported out of Canada without a license or permit from the Board, and no mixed grain containiag wheat shall be imported into Canada withou™ a li- cense or permit from the Board’”. f.ondon, May 10th.—Mr. Walter Long, replying to a question in the House of Commons today, said that British war- ships in the Black Sea would continue to bombard thc Russian coast until the Bolsheviki ceased hostilities with Gen- eral Wrangels Crimean Army, and with a view to a discussion of terms for an armistice. He added 'hat the bombard- ment was preventing the export of Rus- sian raw materials, but declared it was due to the Soviet Govt. persisting in hostilities. ondon, May 10th—Joe Beckett knock- ed out Bombaraier Wells in the third round of a mateh for the heavyweight championship of England tonight. Washingion, May 10th. Secretary Daniels was hetore the Semate Investi- cating Committee, and made his long awaited reply te the criticisms of Rear Admiral Sims on the Navy’s Part in the No. 118 war. He charges that Admiral Sims lacked vision, beiittled the work of the American Navy in contrast with the Britidh, coveted British decorations and aspired to become an honorary member of the British Admiraity. He declared that the officers supportine Admiral Sims charges were largely ‘'People With a Grievance’’. The testimony of uther officers in possession of first hand know- ledge, he testified, should be accepted by all right-minded men as an absolute refutation of practically all of Admiral Sims charges. Vera Cruz, May 10th. —An official bul- letin received here from Mexico ('ity an- nounces that President Carranza’s train is on the Mexican railway between Api- zaco and Esperanza, and adds that a Commission has been despatched [rom the capital to approach President Car- ranza and offer him guaran‘ees. Paris, May lith.
