HE public is hereby notified that in T the event of an impending hurricane, the following signals will be given:— During the day. Upon receipt of in- formation that a hur- cane s appreaching, UNE HURRICANE FLLAG (a red flag with a black square in the centre) will be flown. If this island is in the path of the hurricane, TWO HURRICANE FILLAGS, (oneabove the other, will be flown. During the night. T'wo rockets will be fired at an interval of - three minutes between the first and vecond. The above mentioned signals wili be given fromthe fortsin Chris tiansted and Fred- eriksted, as well as from the battery at King’s Hill.
