BILL NO. 30-0096 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2013 An Act to amend title 19, part II, chapter 18, section 291 of the Virgin Islands Code by including any federally qualified health center among the facilities permitted to provide minors with treatment for pregnancy, communicable disease, and drug or controlled substance abuse, emergency medical or surgical treatment, and family planning services ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 19, part II, chapter 18, section 291 of the Virgin Islands Code is amended as follows: qd) By inserting after the word, “hospital” the words“, or any Federally Qualified Health Center as designated by the Bureau of Primary Health Care and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services,” (2) By adding a new subsection (f) to read as follows: “(f) Behavioral health services”; and (3) By adding a new subsection (g) to read as follows: “(g) Dental services’. Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on November 19, 2013. …
