ACTNO. 8769 BILL NO. 35-0163 THIRTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2023 An Act providing an appropriation from the Tourism Advertising Revolving Fund to the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority, Office of the Governor, the Virgin Islands Department of Education, the Virgin Islands Police Department, the Virgin Islands Department of Public Works, the Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture, the Virgin Islands Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation, and the Virgin Islands Department of Tourism during the fiscal year October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024 ---()--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other law, the following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are appropriated in the fiscal year October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024, from any funds available in the Tourism Advertising Revolving Fund to: the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority, the Office of the Governor to fund programs, the Virgin Islands Department of Education for Interscholastic Competition, the Virgin Islands Police Department for police operations on St. Thomas/St. John and St. Croix, the Virgin Islands Department of Public Works, the Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture and the Virgin Islands Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation for promotion of sports tourism, sports programs and other related purposes; and for the Department’s personnel, fringe, maintenance, supplies, utilities, equipment and other related purposes. 6069 TOURISM ADVERTISING REVOLVING FUND FY 2024 620 VIRGIN ISLANDS WASTE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY TOTAL 620 VIRGIN ISLANDS WASTE MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY $ 500,000 200 OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR TOTAL 200 OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR $ 300,000 400 DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION
