= N AN ORDINAN E PROVIDING FOR A HEARSw AND DRIVE R FOR CHRISTIANSTUiD AND FOR A HORSE, HEARSE AND DRIV- ER FOR FREDERIKSTED. 1. That a anrse and nearse or carriage part and driver shall be provid d to be used at the funerals of the poor and paupers and those who are unabie to otherwisé provide necessary conveyance in Christiansted and Frederiksted Towns and environments. 2. The ecare and control of the above shall be under the Prisorn Department who shall provide for and rake care of the horses and conveyances and maintain the same in an orderly manner. 3. Applications fer the use of the horses, hearses and drivers shall be made to the Chairman ot the Poor Com- mission of Christiansted and Frederik- sted who shall give the necessacy in- structions and see that ‘the horses he rses and drivers are provided.
