Farrell Director Designee Press Release To: All News Media From: Eugene D Farrell Director Designee Date: February 26, 2015 Re: Update: Temporary Closure of the Bordeaux Fire Station Tango Company The Virgin Islands Fire Service has located and ordered the necessary parts to repair the Tutu Fire Station fire apparatus. The parts are scheduled to arrive on island on Friday February 27, 2015. Once the repairs are completed and the apparatus is cleared for duty, the Tutu Station’s operations will return to normal and we will re-open the Bordeaux station. The Virgin Islands Fire Services appreciates the commitment of all personnel to continue providing full service throughout the island during this temporary emergency. ###
