Mr. Woods has the approved listing of paint and colors from Historic Preservation Commission. The PFA will purchase all paint for the job. 4-Is the wall surrounding the area to be included? Yes, the surrounding walls are to be included in the bid. 5-If the wall under the gutters is to be painted correctly, the gutters will need to be removed. Once removed, they will need to be replaced most likely. Yes, the walls under the gutters should be painted; therefore, the removal and replacement of the gutters should be included in the bid. 6-The walls will need to be repaired/skimmed once they are pressure washed. There is not a line item for this on the bid sheet. DPW and DPP should include a line item for the repair/skimmed work after the building is pressure washed. 7-Street access will need to be granted when the face of the building is being worked on. The PFA rep says she is aware of this and with proper notice they can request the road to be blocked. Yes, we will request restricted parking to facilitate traffic flow and/or road closure when necessary. This work should be scheduled on weekends to minimize traffic disruption.
