GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES ST. THOMAS, s Executive Order No. 2--1923. |N order that complete and accurate re- cord may be kept of persons who ar- rive in the Virgin Islands, especially aliens, there will hereafter be kept at the ports of St, Thomas, St. John, Chris- tiansted and lkrederiksted, a book to be known as the Immigration Record in which will be recorded the following data concerning persons arriving in the Virgin Islands: 1. Full name. 2 Ape, 3. Sex. 4. Lelor. b, Date of arrival 6, Name of vessel. 7. Citizenship, 8. lormer residence, 9. Orceupation. 10, lLocal address. ; 11. Remarks (description of passport, | length of stay and other pertinent | information., ¢ | The information necessary to complete | this record will be procured under the | cognizance of the Directors of Police in | sSt. Thomas and St. Croix, and the Des- patchirg Secretary at St. John. Each vessel earrying passengers wiil be board- ed by an official from the above offices when the necessary oata will be secured to be later transposed to the permanent Immigration Record. Captains of ves- sels will not be permit'ed to land passen- gers until the data for this record have been obtained, Passengers who remain ina port of the Virgin Islands only during the stay of the ship, and who depart with it, need not be recorded. . | The data required by the Immigration Record are in addition to the require- | ments of existing laws regarding Jmmi- gration. foreigners, ete. in the Virgin | Isiands.
