THE VIRGIN ISLANDS POLICE DEPARTMENT “To Protect and Serve” Office of the Commissioner VIPD NEWS RELEASE- 110623-346 For Immediate Media Distribution November 6, 2023 VIPD Thanks Sponsors and the Community for a Successful Trunk or Treat Event U.S. Virgin Islands – The Virgin Islands Police Department would like to thank all sponsors, participants and Trunk or Treaters for a successful Second Annual Trunk or Treat Halloween event which was held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at The Mall of St. Croix on St. Croix and The West Indian Company Limited on St. Thomas. This year’s Trunk or Treat was filled with amazing Halloween themed trunks, costumes, and great entertainment for families. “This event put hundreds of smiles on the faces of the children and families of this territory, and it would not have been possible without our sponsors and participants. It was well received and created a positive impact that VIPD strives to continue in bridging the gap between Law Enforcement and the community in which we serve.”, said Commissioner Ray Martinez. …
