TRAIN RUN ON A MILK DIET. An engine pulling a train of five cars containing 200 persons was run a dis tance of 20 miles by using dried milk as fuel. The miltk was worked into lumps each, about four inches in diameter. A "'warmed up’’ engine was used in the test. Some 125 pounds of the dried millk was shoveled in. When the steam cape registered 200 the locomotive started off. The experiment showed that (e dried milk had about the same b value as a medium grade of coal. !, this way Dr. H. N.
