The sloop ‘‘Mizpah’ will be dispatched with the regular St. Thomas maiis at the usual hour tolday. More Volunteers Will Take the Field in the lunterest of the Local Red Cross. The seventh annual membership drive of the local Red Cross orgzanization is not losing momentum. On the contrary, through the accecsion of several new volunteers, the work is gaining bo'h ‘n sp2ea and force, so that the happiest re. sults are now confidently heped for. The Red Cross office is peased to an- nounce that Mrs. R. E. Barrett, wife of the Despatehing Secretary, and Mrs. F. D. Creamer, wife of Caprain Creamer, Commanding the U. 8. Marine Caorps, Mrs. Harry Hines, Mrs. Rolard Chase and Mrs. Robert Skeoch have volun- teered to join in the membership drive and with other ladies whose aid is anti- cipated will undertake a spirited canvass amonyg all our people of good will toward humanity. Additions to the aides of Captains heretofore announced, also have been made, so that the Red Cross arniy is now pressing forward on all i{ronts in the hope of closing the campuaizn in victory at an early date.
