Act No. 6295 (BILL NO. 23-0159) (Approved October 26, 1999) To amend Section 9(a) of Act No. 6278 to reprogram the proceeds of the Indirect Cost Fund to provide funding to supplement prior years and the current year Molasses Subsidy payments; and for other related purposes Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. (a) Act No. 6278, Section 9(a), is amended by striking the figure "$5,277,255" and inserting in lieu thereof the figure "$762,325". (b) The sum of $2,277,255, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the Indirect Cost Fund in the fiscal year ending September 30, 1999 to supplement prior years and the fiscal year 1999 molasses subsidy payments. …
