Turnbull Regional Library 4607 Tutu Park Mall St. Thomas, VI 00802 Re: Virgin Islands Department of Sports, Parks, and Recreation Request for Federal Determination for Coastal Consistency Pre-Application Meeting for the Ezra Frederiks Ballpark Improvement Project on St. Thomas Dear Commissioner Oriol: The Virgin Islands Department of Sports, Parks, and Recreation respectfully requests a Pre- Application Meeting for Federal Consistency Determination for the Ezra Frederiks Ballpark Project located at Parcel No. 22 Estate Nadir, Red Hook Quarter, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The project includes construction of a new concession and restroom building designed to support the recreational activities, operations and public use, along with accessibility improvements and supporting infrastructure necessary to meet current building and safety standards. In addition, the project also includes replacement and upgrading of damaged site elements such as fencing, gates, and other recreational infrastructure to restore safe operation of the ballpark. The architectural plans were prepared by Grant Engineering and Construction Group. DSPR have attached the Federal Consistency Report along with 100% of the plan and the Record of Environmental Considerations. The Department of Sports, Parks, and Recreation is looking forward to a scheduling of the pre- application FCD meeting as soon as possible.
