ACTNO. 79538 BILL NO. 30-0197 THIRTIETH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2013 An Act amending title 29 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 3, sections 225 and 226 authorizing solar thermal energy systems and photovoltaic energy systems, including utility-scale solar voltaic energy generation plants as a permitted use in all zoning districts ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 29 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 3, section 225 is amended in subsection (b) by renumbering it accordingly to insert a new paragraph (92) that reads as follows: (92) ‘Solar photovoltaic energy system’ means facilities, equipment and devices that have the primary purpose of collecting solar energy and generating electricity by photovoltaic effect.” SECTION 2. …
