Office of the Commissioner Monday, April 27, 2026 PUBLIC NOTICE Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources informs the public that the following St. Croix Coastal Zone Management (CZM) Committee Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 5:30pm. This meeting will be held via the video conferencing platform Microsoft Teams. The agenda is as follows: Public Hearing (Testimony will be heard) Public Hearing for Federal Consistency Determination No. CZM0010-25- Virgin Islands Department of Education- CLAUDE O. MARKOE SCHOOL PRE-K- 8TH- DEMOLITION AND RECONSTRUCTION. The purpose of the project is to demolish the existing Claude O. Markoe School and design and construct a completely new school, including classrooms, administrative offices, a library, a cafeteria, a kitchen, bathrooms, stairways, balconies, hallways, and all fixtures, equipment, and contents to replace the campus with a new campus.
