The United States Virgin Islands (USVI) has seen remarkable increases in import values across several categories. Handbag imports in the Apparel sector climbed by $455,700 to $865,325, while baby garments rose by $68,639 to $109,639. In Tourist Goods, camera imports surged by $484,000 to $620,000, and make-up products tripled in value to $3.6 million, increasing by $2.8 million. Portland Cement in the Industrial Import Goods category rose slightly to $2.2 million, and propane imports increased by $43.3 million to $70.1 million. Gasoline values also rose by $1.4 million. Notably, the U.S. benchmark Henry Hub natural gas price dropped 62% in 2023 according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), which may impact next year's import values. …
