ACTNO, 7735 BILL NO. 31-0030 THIRTY-FIRST LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2015 An Act amending title 27 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 1, subchapter II, section 42 by extending immunity in emergencies, also known as the Good Samuritan Law, to all persons who assist in emergencies ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 27. Virgin Islands Code, chapter I, subchapter II, section 42 is amended as follows: (a) The title is amended by striking “and other cases” (b) Subsection (b), is amended after the “applicable to”, by inserting the “all persons, including;” (c) Subsections (a), (b) and (c) are re-designated as (b), (c) and (d) and a new subsection (a) is inserted that reads as follows: ‘(a) This section may be cited as “The Good Samaritan Law.” : Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on May 6. 2015.
