ACTNO, 6717 BILL NO. 25-0253 TWENTY-FIFTH LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES Regular Session 2004 To amend title 3 Virgin Islands Code chapter 25 sections 526 and 528, relating to certification and appointment of government employees; and to amend title 3 Virgin Islands Code chapter 27 relating to members of the Board of Trustees of the Government Employees Retirement System and for other purposes ---0--- BE IT ENACTED by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 3 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 25, section 526 is amended in the following instances: (a) Subsection (a) is amended in the second sentence after the phrase “the names of” by inserting “no fewer than”, and by striking the third sentence in its entirety; and (b) Subsection (b), is amended in the first sentence of the second paragraph after the phrase “the certification of” by inserting “at least” and in the second sentence, by striking “More than three names may be certified if necessary to insure that” and inserting the word, “shall” after the word “eligibility”.
