N 5 otice To Road Holders. - e | HE general annual repairs of the Pub- | lic Roads in St. Croix, with Bridges. | Barge Walls, Culverts, Hand Rails, ‘ Water courses, etc. ete., shall commence (accord!ng to Par. 13 of the Road Ordin- ! ance of 9th June 1884) in the month of | October and be completed for the general | Inspeci’.‘lon in January month. | Special attention must he given ip re- | pairing to use good materials and to keep | the roadway uniform and even, with a | good crown so as to shoot off the water | quickly, and the trenches must b: dug | out well, with suffizient width ¢nd depth f to take away quickly the water from heavy rains and same time not be dan- | gerous to public traffic. ; The cocoanut, and other trees, along | the roadsides must be kept trimmed so | s not to be an inconvenience to the | Automobiles and Vehicles using the | roads.
