BILL NO. 32-0228 THIRTY-SECOND LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2018 An Act amending title 19 Virgin Islands Code, chapter 16, section 245a relating to the Government Hospitals and Health Facilities Corporation's competitive bidding process to require advertisement for bids to be published through electronic media or in the newspapers of general circulation, and to make technical amendments Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 19 Virgin Istands Code, chapter 16. subchapter [, section 245a is amended in the following instances: (a) The introductory clause at the beginning of the section is designated subsection (a); (b) The first sentence of paragraph (5) is designated as subsection (b), and the second sentence is designated as subsection (c); and (c) Subsection (d) is added and reads as follows: “(d) Advertisement for bids must be published through electronic media or in new spapers of general circulation in the Virgin Islands.” Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on June 15, 2018. …
