/CTNO. 8253 BILL NO. 33-0094 THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS Regular Session 2019 An Act amending title 34. chapter 2. section 41 of the Virgin Islands Code to include persons suffering with cancer or degenerative diseases in the Department of Human Services’ Pharmaceutical Program ---0--- Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands: SECTION 1. Title 34, chapter 2, section 41 of the Virgin Islands Code is amended as folio w: (a) In subsection (a) as follows: (I) By striking “certain” and inserting “certified” in its place: (2) by striking the “and” where it appears after “over” and inserting a comma in its place; and (3) by striking “persons” where it appears after “disabled” and inserting “adults and adults suffering with cancer or degenerative diseases” in its place; and (h) By adding a new subsection (d) to read as follows: “(d) The programs established in this section are subject to the availability of ffinding for each fiscal year” Thus passed by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands on December 19, 2019. …
