October 22, 2019 AMENDMENT TWO (2) IFB042DPWC19 (C)- Construction of a Masonry Fence Wall at the Kingshill Cemetery, St. Croix, USVI INSERT: QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Question: There are several trees in the path of the proposed masonry fence. Is the contractor responsible for removing the trees? Answer: The contractor is not responsible for removing any trees. DPW will work with the contractor to create the necessary offset distance from the chain link fence in order to avoid the trees. Question: There appears to be several tombs in close proximity to the proposed path of the masonry fence. What is expected of the contractor? Answer: Again, DPW will work with the contractor to create the necessary distance and offset to avoid the interference of any tomb. The scope of work remains the same with no changes. All other terms and conditions remain the same. A copy of this amendment must be returned with your bid.
