OPCMR AMENDMENT No.1 OF 1 PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT THIS AMENDMENT made as of the day of 2020 in the Territory of the Virgin Islands, by and between the Government of the Virgin Islands DEPARTMENT OF PROPERTY A1%D PROCUREMENT, on behalf of the DEPARTMENT of Health (hereinafter referred to as “Government”) and CMA International Architects & Engineers, PSC whose address is 1509 F.D. OPCMR AMENDMENT No.1 OF 1 PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT THIS AMENDMENT made as of the day of 2020 in the Territory of the Virgin Islands, by and between the Government of the Virgin Islands DEPARTMENT OF PROPERTY A1%D PROCUREMENT, on behalf of the DEPARTMENT of Health (hereinafter referred to as “Government”) and CMA International Architects & Engineers, PSC whose address is 1509 F.D. Roosevelt Ave., Guaynabo, PR 00968-2612 (hereinafter referred to as “Contractor”). Both parties witness to being duly authorized to execute this agreement and will attest accordingly when and where necessary. WITNESSETH WHEREAS, pursuant to Contract No. P063D011T20 approved by the Commissioner of Property and Procurement on CMA International Architects & Engineers, PSC (which constitute and are hereinafter referred to as the “Contract”), the Government contracted with Contractor to provide Engineering Services for a Temporary Parking Lot at the Charles Harwood Complex Modular Campus on St. Croix; and WHEREAS, the Contract expires pursuant to its terms on November 22, 2020; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the Contract, to extend its term by five (5) months, to change the Scope ofWork in Addendum Ito include design ofthe temporary parking lot lighting system, and to increase the compensation by Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars and No Cents ($9,900.00): and NOW THEREFORE, for mutual and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto agree as follows: TERMS AN]) CONDITIONS 1. Paragraph 2— Term and Effective Date is hereby amended by deleting all of the existing language contained therein and replacing it with the following language: “The Contract shall commence upon the execution of this Contract by the Commissioner of the Department and Property and Procurement and shall terminate ten (10) months thereafter.” 2. Paragraph 3 — Compensation is hereby amended to increase the compensation by Nine Thousand Nine Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($(9,900.00) by deleting all of the existing language contained therein and replacing it with the following language: “The Government in consideration of the satisfactory performance of the services descnbed in Addendum I (scope of Services) agrees to pay Contractor the sum not to exceed One Hundred Twenty-Nine Thousand One Hundred Sixty and 00/100 Dollars ($129,160.00) in accordance with the provisions set forth in Addendum II (Compensation) attached hereto and made a part of this Contract.” Initials: Contract No. 20th November P017DOHT21 3. Addenda] & 11 of the Contract is revised by deleting all terms contained therein and inserting in lieu thereof all of the terms contained in the new Addenda I & 11 attached hereto as Exhibit “A’. 4. This Amendment is subject to the approval of the Commissioner of the Department of Property and Procurement and to the appropriation arid availability of ftinds. 5. Except as expressly amended in this Amendment, afl terms of the contract remain in ftill force and effect. 6. FACSIMILE, ELECTRONEC & DIGITAL SEGNATURES A facsimile, electronic or digital signature on this Contract shall be deemed an original and binding upon the Parties hereto.
