Thraen Provost’s Report The Provost’s Report included an extensive update on the Provost's Component's activities and initiatives during September through December 2020. The report highlighted student outreach activities; several public service and community outreach activities; and an extensive number of student and faculty achievements, including publications, presentations, and other scholarly activities. As part of the Provost’s report, Associate Provost for Enrollment Management, Mr. David Wuinee, provided an analysis of the Spring 2021 registration and enrollment as well as strategies for enhancing recruitment in-territory and across the Eastern Caribbean. President David Hall provided the Committee with specifics regarding a $250,000 commitment recently announced by Diageo North America establishing an endowment to support 10 students annually, external funding for the UVI (University of the Virgin Islands) School of Medicine, the Andre and Edith Galiber Lecture Series, and the renaming of the St. Thomas Campus in honor of President Emeritus Dr. Orville Edward Kean.
