No.: 340-714-1700 Email Address: info@usvieda.org NEWS RELEASE August 1, 2024 For immediate release Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority offices on St. Thomas, St. Croix to close early CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands – August 1, 2024 — Due to inclement weather, the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) offices will close at 3PM today in the St. Thomas-St. John District at 8000 Nisky Center, Suite No. 620; and in the St. Croix District at No. 116 King St., in Frederiksted. The VIEDA will inform the public of any further changes in its office schedule as they arise. For assistance, the community and VIEDA clients may contact the VIEDA office in both districts through the respective email address of the individual(s) to be contacted; or call and leave a message at the respective VIEDA office directly at 340-714-1700 on St. Thomas and 340-773-6499 on St. Croix. The U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (USVIEDA) is a semi-autonomous governmental instrumentality [of the Government of the Virgin Islands] that was created on February 1, 2001. It is responsible for the promotion and enhancement of economic development of the United States Virgin Islands. The USVIEDA assumes, integrates and unifies the functions of these four entities: Economic Development Commission, Virgin Islands Economic Development Park Corporation, Economic Development Bank and the Enterprise Zone Commission. The USVIEDA accomplishes its mission by attracting multi-national investors to the Territory to establish or relocate their business in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
